CFP: Contemporary Philosophical Debates on Values

Labyrinth: An International Journal for Philosophy, Value Theory and Sociocultural Hermeneutics 

will publish 2019 two issues on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Institute for Axiological Research (Vienna) and its own inauguration.

From particular interest are papers on contemporary philosophical value debates on the following topics: 

  • Values and Virtues
  • Values and Emotions
  • Values in Education
  • Values in Intercultural Communication
  • Religious Values and Secular Values: Conflicts and Implications
  • Values in the Context of Human Rights
  • Social and Political Values

Scholars working on the philosophy of values are kindly invited to submit an abstract with a brief biography (including name, institution, position, main publications) until 10th of Mars 2019. Authors who have already an unpublished paper on these topics are welcome to submit it within the abstract. Papers in their final form should arrive no later than 31th of May 2019.
